Born and raised in New York, Gianna Roccaro has most recently been seen in I Love Christmas Movies! at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Don't Tell Mama NYC, The West End Lounge, The Duplex and Lorenzo’s have also been settings where she has shared her eclectic musical theatre repertoire. Some of Gianna’s favorite credits are Annie Get Your Gun (Annie Oakley), Hello, Dolly! (Dolly Levi), Nine (Mama Maddelena), Aida (Amneris), Joseph…Dreamcoat (The Narrator), The Wild Party (Kate u/s), The Human Comedy Workshop for Encores! (Dolly Hawthorne), Sweeney Todd (Soloist/Ensemble) and as a featured performer at The Drama League Benefit Gala Honoring Nathan Lane. Her Richmond County Bank Ballpark performances of “The Star-Spangled Banner” were especially rewarding, when she was Miss Richmond County’s Outstanding Teen. A top 5 finalist of the Roger Rees Awards and the recipient of the Richmond Choral Society Scholarship, Gianna is a member of the inaugural Musical Theatre program at Manhattan School of Music, where she received a Bachelor of Music. Off-stage, Gianna has directed and choreographed two summer camp productions for campers ages 3-14 at Staten Island Academy’s Day Camp. She very much enjoys listening to the Beatles, watching her favorite Marvel movies, collecting vinyl records, baking vegan goodies and spending time with her Sicilian family.
